Understanding Our 'No-Show' Policy
 
Due to the unfortunate number of 'No-Shows' each season, Sagamore-Hampton Golf Club can no longer sustain losing significant income day after day due to customers either not showing up for their tee-time or them booking a tee-time for four players but only showing up with two --- Much like the airlines, restaurants, hotels and physicians, public golf courses rely heavily upon 'reservations', and when a reserved tee-time is not honored, it results in lost revenue that we simply cannot recoup, It's important to us that our customers understand why this policy has been introduced, and that avoiding No-Show Fees is pretty easy to do!
 
Please know that all Sagamore tee-time reservations now require a valid credit card --- The credit card is only required to cover potential No-Show Fees (should that be necessary). During your initial online booking, you will be prompted to provide your credit card information one time only, and your information will be safely and securely stored to your Sagamore customer account so that subsequent reservations can be made quickly and conveniently. We ask everyone to take a minute o two to review the details below to help you better understand the process:
  • Why do we require a credit card? Your credit card is only required to cover potential No-Show Fees, should they apply to your reservation
  • No-Show Fees: Weekdays = $15 per no-show player  /  Weekends & Holidays = $20 per no-show player
  • Will my credit card be charged for the tee-times I'm reserving? NO!!! Greenfees will NOT be charged to your credit card, and each golfer in your group will be able to pay for their own greenfees once they check-in at the course
  • Can I make changes or cancellations to my tee-time? Customers can easily change or cancel their tee time reservations by logging in to their Sagamore tee-time account OR by calling the course during normal business hours (if you don't already have a Sagamore tee-time account, you will be prompted to create an account the first time you book an online time at either Sagamore course)
  • What happens on days when the weather is poor? We'd still appreciate a phone call if the weather is too poor to play, but we will NOT charge any No-Show Fees on days when the weather is obviously inclement
  • Cancellation Deadline: To avoid being charged any No-Show Fees, you must remember to confirm any changes or cancellations no later than 24-hours before your tee-time
