Way back in 1929, Sagamore Golf, Inc. established itself as a true 'pioneer of public golf' in New England by opening Sagamore Spring Golf Club in Lynnfield, Massachusetts, and becoming one of the very first daily-fee 18-hole golf courses north of Boston --- And now, 93 years later, our family's fourth generation is excited to carry Sagamore's long heritage well into the future. The great game of golf has come a long way since 1929, and so has Sagamore... Since day one, we've remained a popular public golf destination by staying committed to our goal of offering great golf, excellent value, and making sure our customers have fun and always feel welcome. We pride ourselves on knowing that so many golfers choose to play at Sagamore week after week, year after year, because they feel right at home and they have a lot of fun --- And for us, that's what it's all about!
All three of our locations are located within an hour of Boston, and they each offer golfers something special --- Sagamore Spring Golf Club (Lynnfield, MA) is the 'Grand-Daddy' of Sagamore, showcasing 18 uniquely wonderful holes in the heart of MA's thriving North Shore. Sagamore-Hampton Golf Club (North Hampton, NH) is located just minutes from NH's historic seacoast region, offering a fun, picturesque 18-hole layout that makes it a popular destination for many locals and vacationing golfers. The youngest member of the 'Sagamore Trio' is our Sagamore Golf Center (also in North Hampton, NH), which has been recognized as 'One of America's Top-50 Golf Ranges', featuring a year-round driving range with covered & heated hitting stations, one of NH's largest grass practice tees, short-game areas, Family Mini-Golf, and top-notch professional Golf Instruction for all levels!
Our Sagamore Golf Center is also a founding partner and home of The First Tee of New Hampshire, which is a wonderful global junior golf organization that teaches kids the great game of golf by bridging golf instruction and valuable life-skills --- If you have a youngster who may be interested in golf,

From Route 128/95 (North or South)
Take exit 59 (Main Street /Lynnfield Center) and bear right off exit ramp. Then continue on Main Street for about 3 miles and clubhouse & parking for Sagamore Spring will be on the right.
From Route 93 (North or South)
Take exit No. 37-A (Route 128/95) north to Peabody. Then take exit 59 (Main Street /Lynnfield Center) and bear right off the exit ramp. Continue on Main Street for about 3 miles and clubhouse & parking will be on the right.
From Route 1 (North or South)
Take the (Route 129 East /Salem Street) Lynnfield exit. Then at the stop light at the end of the exit, take a left (from the south) or take a right (from the north) onto Salem Street. Follow Salem Street 1/2 mile (there will be a fire station on your right). Then turn right onto Summer Street just between the Mobil and Fire Station. Follow Summer Street for about 4 miles and you will come into Lynnfield Square. At the stop sign turn right onto Main Street and follow Main Street for approximately 2 miles. Clubhouse & parking will be on the right.

Sagamore Spring Golf Club
Timothy Doucette / General Manager & PGA Professional
Tim has been a full-time member of Sagamore Spring Golf Club's Management & Teaching Team since 2015, and he was promoted to General Manager in 2021. He has worked within the New England golf industry ever since graduating from Salem State University, and he is the consummate professional. He has fostered a great rapport with SSGC's many loyal customers over the years, and he's quickly earned the respect of our entire team thanks to his hands-on approach to management and his outstanding work ethic. Tim will continue to oversee SSGC's Learning Center as we move forward, and he will likely continue teaching on a more limited basis in 2021. We're truly fortunate to have Tim on Team Sagamore, and we look forward to working closely with him in the years ahead as he acclimates to his new role as GM.
Gerry Dunklee / Golf Course Superintendent
Gerry has literally grown up at Sagamore Spring Golf Club, having been an integral member of our grounds crew since his high school years almost 30 years ago. He started as a greenskeeper back in the 1990's, and he became Head Superintendent back in 2014. Gerry knows SSGC like the back of his hand, and he's solidified it's reputation as one of the North Shore's best-conditioned public golf courses. Gerry has a great support team on his grounds crew, and he aspires each and every season to help improve the golf course to help make the golfer's experience as good as it can be, day after day, month after month, year after year. We're excited to help Gerry and his team keep SSGC in top form this season, and rest assured, he'll be monitoring every blade of grass with a very keen eye so that every putt roles true and every fairway lie is a good one!
Phil Miceli / Assistant Golf Course Superintendent
Year after year, Phil has proven himself to be one of the most valuable players of the SSGC Team. Not only does Phil's role benefit from him being a scratch golfer, he is also the most skilled laborer we have at Sagamore. He has a wonderful eye for detail and he's able to seamlessly integrate course projects to perfection without compromising the course's original 90+ year design. Phil is highly regarded by everyone at Sagamore and his efforts each season are invaluable. We're incredibly lucky to have Phil as SSGC's Assistant Superintendent, and we recognize him as one of the most dedicated and hard-working employees we have at Sagamore.
