Laura's Teaching Philosophy
My goal is to be an effective teacher for all levels of golfers. I am motivated to create a learning environment that makes the lessons fun and simple for an enjoyable experience that produces success. My role is to develop an improvement strategy that is designed for each golfer along with an innovative practice plan for making those improvements to enable the player to reach their goals.
I am always excited & enthusiastic about the opportunity to assist students in all aspects of their game from stepping through the process of creating a better swing, improving their shorts game skills, understanding the psychological factors that are part of the game of golf and help them understand the role equipment can play in an improvement strategy. I believe, as an LPGA trained instructor and my own distinct playing experience on the Professional and Amateur level, I provide that for my students. Start your adventure with golf today!

From Louise Billy / 3-Time NH State AM Champion
"Hi Laura, just wanted to thank you for the help with my game on Friday, it really helped a lot. I've been in contact with the New Hampshire Women's Golf Association and suggested they do a blog of some kind where someone like me could sing your praises and share my good experience with my lesson with you... I don't understand why more people don't take lessons."
L. Deluc / Student & NHWGA Member
"Hi Laura, thank you so much for another great lesson. I am sure you could tell how excited I was to work with you again! Everything we talked about and worked on was very helpful and I started to hit the ball better already this weekend. I am going to keep working on the things you have taught me and I will come back to see you in a few weeks.... Thanks again for all your help!"
Ryan's Teaching Philosophy
Above all, my goal is to foster growth in every golfer I work with from beginner, to intermediate, and more accomplished players. I enjoy helping all players achieve their goals. Every swing is unique and that is what makes teaching the game of golf so fun! I am always in search of that "ah-ha" moment when a student produces the shot they want.
As a teacher, my goal is to help golfers of all skill levels, so focus for each lesson can be catered to your needs! Beginners can expect to learn the basics of grip, swing, and short game. For more experienced players, I enjoy sharpening skills and creating the game they have always wanted! I personally love the game of golf and very much enjoy seeing others have fun learning and improving a lifelong passion! In the end, it is all about fun.
In 2009 I graduated with a Degree in Golf Management from Professional Golfers Career College, Orlando, FL (Techniques of Teaching 1,2,3,4 Business Management, Business Law, Clinic Planning Golf Club Design and Repair, Sales of Merchandise, and Golf Management)
I also worked the PGA Tour Honda Classic in Palm Beach during my time in Florida and was Tournament Director at PGA National Resort. I was responsible for coordinating junior clinics and administering group lessons.
I now live in Hampton, New Hampshire, with my wife and son. I still play tournament golf and continue to work hard on my own game. I'm excited to be a part of Sagamore's Team with such a great group of people, and I look forward to meeting you all soon... My goal is to help you take your golf game to the next level!
From Betsy Orlando/Student
"Ryan is a phenomenal instructor! He can watch your swing and flight path of your ball and help you to correct whatever you are struggling with. He keeps it simple in order to not overwhelm. And he truly cares about his students and takes great pleasure in their success."
From Albie Sampson/Student
"I have played golf in the past but struggled in recent years despite a recent indoor video lesson, a range lesson, an outdoor video lesson, and even reading a couple books. Nobody including me was able to find the problem let alone the solution. Ryan saw me hit a few balls and quickly identified my issues and adjusted my stance and set up. Within a few swings I was striping my 9 iron 140 consistently and straight. I hit many shots with that sound that has been absent from my game for a long while. Thankfully I found him and his skill and patience as a Pro. I recommend Ryan to anyone who wants to start playing better golf."
